Renewals of the Covenant

Covenant Critique – An Introduction

by Hubert F. Sturges,, April 2009

The Everlasting Covenant project presents a unique approach.  The Covenant is followed from its inception in the council of the Godhead before the foundation of the world, through the repeated presentations of this covenant throughout the history of mankind, and into the New Earth.

Concepts are presented from the Bible.  Hard questions are answered. An attempt is made to harmonize all aspects of the covenant.

In this section, a critique of the works of others is made as a comparison with the main website, "Everlasting Covenant. Much has been written about the Covenant for hundreds, maybe thousands of years. Most of what I read presents a view from the “middle of the stream.” The writers do not discuss where it began or where it is going. When the Covenant is directly addressed at all it is usually limited to the New Covenant of Jeremiah 31:31-34; Hebrews 8:8-10 and 10:16 and rather nebulous references to the covenants at Sinai.

Many writings actually say very little about the covenant at all, rather being theological studies.

So, let’s begin with a look at some of the variant viewpoints .
